The Microwave, Electricity and Whirlpool Old Dutch Farms

The barely used microwave stopped working. Whirlpool tech said something is wrong power coming into the home. I blew the mother board. I'm sure management was advised. Nothing was done.

Home Installation Concerns

Since HUD enacted manufactured home building standards in 1976, factory-built homes have seen quality improvement. Unfortunately, manufactured home tenants have seen damage to newly purchased homes during transport to the building site, or during the installation phase. Resolution of these issues falls to local governments the home dealers and manufacturers, who actually own the home until the county issues an occupancy permit. In many cases, local agencies have been reluctant to provide information to the renter/homeowner so he can pursue his case against the home dealer or management company. It's recommended that manufactured home tenants to search out a home inspector to oversee quality issues in your home.

At the Common Ground Legal Clinic, attendees can receive free consultations, informed recommendations, and service referrals from licensed attorneys. Direct Representation is not available. All legal issues are welcome. No appointment is necessary. Please bring all paperwork with you. A crisis counselor is on site (subject to availability) to meet with attendees as well.
